The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

It's about time to finaly start doing 10 requests from my list. Wonderful *Loveit have made in poser special character for me. I asked her for woman inspired by film "Ladyhawke" with Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer. Todays evening I'll start new manip with it, it will be made for *LourdesLaVeau-Bowman (one from two manips for her inspired by film Ladyhawke") We both love this film so making this manip will be big fun for me. I hope I will find good stock of wolf or dog wolf alike photographed en face. Maybe you know one?

Last few days I was without energy. I don't know what it was but today it is completely different! I started new manip - "White Peacock Queen" and like in "Peacock Queen" it will be with `lockstock photo, I have found perfect fitting one. I'm so excited because I have found great photos for it, I've made Lockstock's skin and hair looking great for this manip and everything is just great

I don't know how it is in your towns my friends but it's suddenly got freezing cold round the Warsaw's area. The central heating in our house is always not good enough for me (I'm like cats, "always not warm enough") so I'm now in two blouses and I'm still freezing

So we have winter and my "White Peacock Queen" will be in winter colours

Yay! New art! Well, if you dont' find any stock on DA, you can always check good ol' sxc. That's where I always go if I can't find what I'm looking for, but I usually try to support DA artists first.
